DTC B1463-02: Upper Latch - Combined Pawl/Claw Switch - General signal failure: Action
- Refer to the electrical circuit diagrams and check the tailgate latch soft close initiation switch circuit for short circuit to power, open circuit, high resistance. Repair circuit as required, clear DTC and retest
- If the fault persists, check and install a new tailgate soft close actuator. Clear the DTC and retest
