Centrifugal Advance

Disconnect and plug hose at vacuum advance unit. Connect timing light to No. 1 spark wire. Connect tachometer to coil negative terminal. Start engine and note timing with engine idling. Slowly increase engine speed to 2000 RPM. Timing should increase smoothly as engine speed increases.
