Tailgate Window Switch
- Using a 12-volt test light, connect one end of test light to ground and probe Red wire of switch. If test light illuminates, voltage is present at switch, proceed to next step. If test light does not illuminate, check power supply circuit and repair as necessary.
- Probe Tan wire. Turn tailgate switch to DOWN position. If test light does not illuminate, replace switch. If test light illuminates, go to next step.
- Probe Brown wire. Turn tailgate switch to UP position. If test light does not illuminate, replace switch. If test light illuminates, go to TAILGATE WINDOW SAFETY SWITCH .
