If no faults were discovered while performing procedures in the BASIC TESTING article in this section, proceed with self-diagnostics. If no trouble codes or only pass codes are present after entering into self-diagnostics, proceed to TEST NTC-1A  in this article, and also to the TESTS W/O CODES - GASOLINE article in this section for diagnosis by symptom (i.e., ROUGH IDLE, NO START, etc.).
