STATE DISPLAYS Mode

This allows technician to read status or values of sensors, inputs/outputs and components. PCM can only recognize high and low status on switch circuits. PCM cannot detect the difference between an open or short circuit or a defective switch. If DRB displays a change between INPUT HIGH and INPUT LOW, it can be assumed that entire switch circuit to PCM is working.
