Test NTC-21B - Checking Water-In-Fuel Lamp & Sensor

NOTE: This test only applies to problems with Water-In-Fuel (WIF) lamp. Perform TEST NTC-21A  before proceeding.
NOTE: For connector terminal identification, refer to CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION . For wiring diagram, see WIRING DIAGRAMS article in this section.

Turn ignition off. Disconnect jumper wire. Using scan tool in ohmmeter mode, check resistance of WIF sensor connector, ground circuit (Black/Light Blue wire). If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair open ground circuit and perform TEST VER-2A . If resistance is 5 ohms or less, replace WIF sensor and perform TEST VER-2A.
