Power Steering Pressure (PSP) Switch

A PSP switch is used on 2.5L with power steering. Switch is located on power steering pressure line, next to power steering pump. PSP switch sends a signal to PCM when system pressure rises to more than 250-300 psi (17.6-21.1 kg/cm2 ). When power steering load is high, PCM increases engine idle speed through IAC motor to prevent stalling.
