Test TC-15C - Speed Control Solenoid Circuits Or Speed Control Power Relay Circuits

NOTE: Perform TEST TC-15A  before proceeding.
NOTE: For connector terminal ID, see CONNECTOR IDENTIFICATION  DIRECTORY. For component location, see wiring diagram in the appropriate WIRING DIAGRAMS article. See following list.
  1. Disconnect brakelight switch connector. Using scan tool in voltmeter mode, check voltage on brakelight switch connector, S/C (ON/OFF switch sense) power supply circuit (Yellow/Red wire). If voltage is 10 volts or less, perform TEST TC-15D . If voltage is more than 10 volts, go to next step.
  2. Using an external ohmmeter, check resistance of switched S/C power supply circuit (Dark Blue/Light Green wire) between S/C servo 4-pin connector and brakelight switch connector. If resistance less than 5 ohms, replace brakelight switch and perform TEST VER-4A . If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair open switched S/C power supply circuit and perform TEST VER-4A.
