Oil Pressure Sensor

The oil pressure sensor is a solid-state sending unit. The sensor uses 3 circuits: 5-volt power supply, sensor ground and sensor signal. The sensor signal circuit varies with engine oil pressure. This signal is transferred "bussed" to the instrument panel on either a CCD or PCI bus circuit (depending on vehicle line). The transferred signal is used to operate oil pressure gauge and CHECK GAUGES light.
