Internal Fault, Antenna, COP, EEPROM, RAM, Serial Link Internal Or Stack Overflow Failure

Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Connect scan tool to Data Link Connector (DLC). See Figure . Turn ignition switch to ON position. Using scan tool, read and record Sentry Key Immobilizer Module (SKIM) DTCs. Erase SKIM DTCs. Cycle ignition switch from OFF to ON positions 10 times, leaving ignition switch in ON position for a minimum of 90 seconds per cycle. Recheck for DTCs. If DTCs reset, replace SKIM. See SENTRY KEY IMMOBILIZER MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Perform SKIS VERIFICATION TEST  under VERIFICATION TESTS. If DTCs do not reset, test is complete.
