Driver Door Fails To Lock

Possible Causes are:

  1. Remove the inner door trim panel to gain access to the Driver Door Module C1 connector. Disconnect the Driver Door Module C1 connector. Measure the resistance of the Door Lock Driver circuit in the driver door module C1 connector to body ground. Is the resistance less than 20 ohms? If yes, repair the Driver Door Lock Driver wire for a short to ground. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST VER 1  under VERIFICATION TESTS. If no, go to next step.
  2. If there are no possible causes remaining, replace the Driver Door Module. Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST VER 1  under VERIFICATION TESTS.
