Glow Plug: Installation

  1. Install glow plugs all the way into cylinder head, hand tight, until the thread stops. See Figure.
  2. Tighten glow plugs to 12.5 N.m (110 in.lbs.).
  3. Connect glow plug electrical connectors. See Figure.
  4. Install intake manifold air inlet tube. See Figure.
  5. Install generator (Refer to ELECTRICAL/CHARGING/GENERATOR - INSTALLATION) .
  6. Connect negative battery cable.
