Some complaints will require a test drive as part of the repair verification procedure. The purpose of the test drive is to try to duplicate the diagnostic code or symptom condition.

WARNING: REASSEMBLE ALL COMPONENTS BEFORE ROAD TESTING A VEHICLE. DO NOT TRY TO READ THE DRBIII(R) SCREEN OR OTHER TEST EQUIPMENT DURING A TEST DRIVE. DO NOT HANG THE DRBIII(R) OR OTHER TEST EQUIPMENT FROM THE REARVIEW MIRROR DURING A TEST DRIVE. HAVE AN ASSISTANT AVAILABLE TO OPERATE THE DRBIII(R) OR OTHER TEST EQUIPMENT. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAN RESULT IN PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH.
