Diagnostic Test

DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) PRESENT
1. Using the scan tool, record and erase DTCs.
2. Cycle the ignition switch from On to Off.
3. Wait 30 seconds.
4. Turn the ignition on.
5. Using the scan tool, read DTCs.
  Does the scan tool display POWER LIFTGATE MODULE INTERNAL?
  
  Yes
  - Replace the Power Liftgate Module in accordance with the Service Information.
  - Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Front Control (FCM) - Standard Procedure .
  No
  - Operate the power liftgate open and closed several times. Using the scan tool, read DTCs. If this code appears, replace the Power Liftgate Module in accordance with the Service Information.
  - Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to DTC-Based Diagnostics/MODULE, Front Control (FCM) - Standard Procedure .
