Map Sensor - 5.7L

The Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) sensor (3). is mounted at the back of the intake manifold (4). See Fig 1.

  1. Disconnect electrical connector at sensor by sliding release lock out (1). See Fig 2. Press down on lock tab (2) for removal.
  2. Rotate sensor 1/4 turn counter-clockwise for removal.
  3. Check condition of sensor o-ring.
