Module, Intrusion Transceiver: Removal: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative cable from the battery. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector before disconnecting the negative cable from the battery.
  2. Remove the overhead console (1) from the headliner. Refer to CONSOLE, OVERHEAD, REMOVAL .

  3. Disconnect the intrusion module sensor pigtail wire harness connector (1) from the Intrusion Transceiver Module (ITM) (2).
  4. Release the latch features that secure the ITM to the overhead console housing.
  5. Remove the ITM from the overhead console housing.
