Radiator, Engine Cooling: Removal: 6.2L

- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Drain the cooling system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- Remove the Low Temperature Radiator (LTR). Refer to RADIATOR, LOW TEMPERATURE, REMOVAL .
- Remove the upper radiator hose.
- Remove the lower radiator hose (1).
- Disconnect the cooling fan wire harness connector.
- Remove bolts (1) and the upper radiator isolator (2).CAUTION:
Bolts are installed with threadlocker. Use hand tools to remove the upper radiator mounting bolts.
- Tilt radiator toward the front of the vehicle and remove the radiator and cooling fan.
- If necessary, remove the mounting bolts (1) and separate the cooling fan from the radiator.
