Radiator, Engine Cooling: Removal: 6.2L

Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
Drain the cooling system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
Remove the Low Temperature Radiator (LTR). Refer to RADIATOR, LOW TEMPERATURE, REMOVAL .
Remove the upper radiator hose.

Remove the lower radiator hose (1).
Disconnect the cooling fan wire harness connector.

Remove bolts (1) and the upper radiator isolator (2).
CAUTION:
Bolts are installed with threadlocker. Use hand tools to remove the upper radiator mounting bolts.
Tilt radiator toward the front of the vehicle and remove the radiator and cooling fan.

If necessary, remove the mounting bolts (1) and separate the cooling fan from the radiator.
