Heater, Engine Block: Installation: Installation

- Thoroughly clean core hole (3) and heater seat.
- Insert heater assembly (2) with element loop positioned upward .
- With heater assembly (2) properly seated, tighten center screw securely to assure a positive seal.CAUTION:
To prevent damage, the power cord must be secured in its retaining clips, and not positioned so it could contact linkages or exhaust manifold.
- Connect power cord (1) to heater assembly (2).
- Lower vehicle.
- Fill cooling system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
