Radiator, Engine Cooling: Installation: 3.6L

  1. Install the radiator into engine compartment and seat the lower rubber isolators into the mounting holes of the lower radiator support.
  2. Install the radiator isolator (1). Tighten bolts (2) to the proper specification. Refer to SPECIFICATIONS  .

  3. Position the condenser on radiator and loosely install the support bolt.
  4. Install upper and lower mounting bolt. Tighten bolts to the proper specification. Refer to SPECIFICATIONS  .
  5. Tighten bolt (2) located between the cooler lines to the proper specification. Refer to SPECIFICATIONS  .

  6. Install the air deflectors (1).
  7. Position the hood latch release cable (2) through the notch in deflector.
  8. Install the front bumper fascia. Refer to FASCIA, FRONT, INSTALLATION .
  9. Raise and support the vehicle Refer to HOISTING, STANDARD PROCEDURE .

  10. Install the lower radiator hose (1).

  11. Install the lower engine cover.
  12. Remove support and lower vehicle.
  13. Install the cooling fan. Refer to FAN, COOLING, INSTALLATION .

  14. Install the upper radiator upper hose (2). Align hose so it does not interfere with the accessory drive belt or engine.
  15. Connect the negative battle cable.
  16. Fill the cooling system with coolant. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  17. Operate the engine until it reaches normal operating temperature. Check the cooling system and automatic transmission for the correct fluid levels.
