Module, Electronic Shift: Removal: Removal

Apply the parking brake.
Using a trim stick or equivalent, carefully release the retaining clips and lift the shifter bezel.

Unplug the wire harness connector (3) between the knob and lower base.

Remove the shifter knob screw (4) and remove the shifter knob (2) and shifter bezel (1).

Using a trim stick (2) or equivalent, starting at the rear of the console bezel panel (1), carefully release the retaining clip and lift the console bezel panel. Disconnect the wire harness connectors and remove the console bezel panel.

Remove the shifter bolts (1) and lift the shifter assembly (2) up enough to allow access to the shifter wire harness connector.

Disconnect the shifter wire harness connector (1).
Remove the shifter from the vehicle.
