The Fluid Cooler Bypass Adapter is located on the left side of the transmission. It takes the place of the Fluid Cooler on some models. The adapter plate houses integral pressure and thermal bypass valves.
Some vehicles will come equipped with an external fluid cooler. This cooler is located in the same position as the Fluid Bypass Valve Adapter.
