Module, Powertrain Control, 2.8L Diesel [Ens]: Removal: Removal

NOTE:

To avoid possible voltage spike damage to the Powertrain Control Module (PCM), ignition key must be off, and negative battery cable must be disconnected before unplugging PCM connectors.

Disconnect the negative battery cable.
Remove bolts (4) and the PCM hold down bracket (1).
Remove the PCM (2) from mounting bracket (5) and carefully disconnect two harness connectors (3) from PCM (2).
