SHIFT LEVER ASSEMBLY

Always perform the NAG1 Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding. Refer to  STANDARD PROCEDURE  . 

  1. SHIFT LEVER ASSEMBLY 

    Repair 

    • Using the schematics as a guide, check the Shift Lever Assembly (SLA) Electronic Shift Module (ESM) terminals for corrosion, damage, or terminal push out. Pay particular attention to all power and ground circuits. If no problems are found, replace the Shift Lever Assembly in accordance with the Service Information.
    • Perform the NAG1 TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
