Fan, Cooling: Installation: Diesel

Guide the cooling fan into position onto the radiator while clearing the upper radiator hose.
Once into position, insert the lower tabs into the retainers.
Install the bolts (1). Tighten to 8 N.m (71 in. lbs.).
Lower the vehicle.

Install a new O-ring seal (2) onto the EGR air flow control valve inlet tube (1).

Connect the Charge Air Cooler (CAC) hose (3) to the EGR air flow control valve inlet tube (1).
Lock CAC tube wire retainer (2).

Raise the vehicle.
Install the nut (1) securing CAC tube (2) to engine and tighten to 9 N.m (80 in. lbs.).

Connect the left CAC hose (1) to cooler (2).

Install the belly pan (2) and securely tighten bolts (2).
Lower the vehicle.

Install the turbocharger inlet tube (5) and securely tighten clamps (4, 6).

Connect the Closed Crankcase Ventilation (CCV) heater wire harness connector (4).
Install the breather hose (2) onto breather tube.

Connect the cooling fan wiring harness connector (1).

Install the engine cover (1).
Connect the negative battery cable.
