Radiator, Engine Cooling: Removal: 3.2L

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable.
  2. Remove the engine cover.
  3. Raise the vehicle.

  4. Remove the lower belly pan.
  5. Separate the lower radiator hose at the radiator.
  6. Drain the cooling system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .

  7. Separate the lower air deflector.
  8. Remove the engine cover.

  9. Remove the upper close out panel cover (1).

  10. Separate the side air deflectors from the upper radiator closeout panel.

  11. Disconnect the cooling fan module harness connector (4).
  12. Disconnect the ambient air temperature sensor (5).
  13. Disconnect the horn electrical connectors (6).
  14. Remove the hood release cable (3) from the air deflector.
  15. Remove the wiring harness (7) from the air deflector.
  16. Remove the upper air deflector (1).

  17. Remove the A/C fill port support bracket (2) and position aside.

  18. Separate the transmission cooler line support brace bolt (1).

  19. Separate the condenser from the radiator (1).

  20. Separate the upper radiator hose from the upper cross over pipe.
  21. Remove the upper radiator mounts (1).

  22. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) at the cooling fan module (2).
  23. Remove the radiator from the vehicle.

  24. Remove the upper radiator hose (2).
  25. Remove the radiator fan assembly.
