Heater, Engine Block: Installation: Installation

1. Thoroughly clean core hole and heater seat.
2. Install the engine block heater (1) into the engine block. Tighten the bolt (2) 12 N.m (106 in. lbs.).
3. Connect the power cord to the engine block heater.

4. Position the A/C compressor (2) to the engine block. Tighten the bolts (1) to 28 N.m (21 ft. lbs.).
5. Reconnect the A/C compressor (2) wire harness connector.

6. Install the serpentine belt.

7. Install the air filter housing cover (1).
8. Install the air intake support bolts (5).
9. Install the air intake hose to the throttle body (4) and tighten the clamp.
10. Reconnect the temperature sensor electrical sensor connector (3).
11. Install the air breather tube (2).
12. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
13. Install the engine cover.
