U196C-83-Message Counter/CRC Fault On Mot_TRANSM1 (From Engine Control Module)Message - Value Of Signal Protection Calculation Incorrect

Treat this DTC as a IMPLAUSIBLE SIGNAL  DTC when performing the COMMUNICATION PRE-DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE.

This DTC indicates that the PCM is not sending the required information over the CAN bus. Therefore, the PCM is considered to be the "offending module". The "offending module" will be referred to in the COMMUNICATION PRE-DIAGNOSTIC procedure.
