Diagnostic Test
- DETERMINE ACTIVE OR STORED DTC
- Make sure the battery is fully charged.
- Turn the ignition on.
- Wait 12 seconds, then with the scan tool, read all active ACM DTCs.
Is the DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) active or stored?
ACM - ACTIVE DTC
- Go To 2
ACM - STORED DTC
- Perform the RESTRAINTS SYSTEM INTERMITTENT TEST. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- PERFORM PROXI ALIGNMENT PROCEDURE
- Using the scan tool, insure BCM is programmed correctly and perform PROXI alignment procedure.
Is the DTC still active?
Yes
- Replace the Occupant Classification Module (ACM) in accordance with Service Information. (Refer to REMOVAL, ACM
(+).

- Perform the Occupant Classification Module (ACM) Verification Test. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
No
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
- Replace the Occupant Classification Module (ACM) in accordance with Service Information. (Refer to REMOVAL, ACM
(+).
- Using the scan tool, insure BCM is programmed correctly and perform PROXI alignment procedure.
