Diagnostic Test
- CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC
- With the scan tool, read Body Control Module (BCM) DTCs and record on the repair order.
- Record the Environmental Data.
- With the scan tool, erase DTCs.
- Using the recorded Environmental Data, along with the When Monitored and Set Conditions above, operate the vehicle in the conditions that set the DTC.
- With the scan tool, read BCM DTCs.
Did the DTC return?
Yes
- Go To 2
No
- Perform the TESTING FOR INTERMITTENT CONDITIONS procedure. Refer to TESTING FOR AN INTERMITTENT CONDITION .
- CHECK FOR ACTIVE DTCS IN THE RF HUB
- Turn the ignition on.
- With the scan tool, read RF Hub DTCs and record on the repair order.
- Turn the ignition off and wait 30 seconds.
- Turn the ignition on and attempt to start the engine.
- If the engine started, wait 10 seconds then turn the ignition off.
- Turn the ignition on.
- With the scan tool, read RF Hub DTCs.
Are there any Immobilizer Antenna related DTCs active?
Yes
- Perform any Immobilizer Antenna related DTCs. Refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING .
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
No
- Replace the Keyless Ignition Node (KIN) in accordance with the Service Information.
- Perform the BODY VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to BODY VERIFICATION TEST .
