Switch, Speed Control: Removal

The Steering Column Control Module (SCCM) for this vehicle includes the right (wiper) multi-function switch, the left (lighting) multi-function switch and the clockspring. In vehicles so equipped, the SCCM also has a cruise control switch stalk located below the left multi-function switch stalk. The multi-function switches, the cruise control switch and the clockspring are inseparable from the SCCM and are serviced only as a unit. If any function or feature of either multi-function switch, the cruise control switch or the clockspring is ineffective or damaged, or if the Driver AirBag (DAB) has been deployed, the entire SCCM unit must be replaced with a new unit.
