Diagnostic Test
CHECK FOR AN ACTIVE DTC
NOTE:
Make sure the IOD fuse is installed and the battery is fully charged before proceeding.
- Turn the ignition on.
- With the scan tool, read DTCs and record on the repair order.
Is this DTC active?
Yes
- Refer to U0168-LOST COMMUNICATION WITH VEHICLE SECURITY CONTROL MODULE (WCM) and perform the U0168-Lost Communication with Vehicle Security Control Module (WIN) diagnostic procedure.
No
- Refer to STORED LOST COMMUNICATION DTCS and perform the Stored Lost Communication DTCs diagnostic procedure.
