Sensor, Coolant Temperature: Installation: 2.4L

  1. Install the coolant temperature sensor (2) and tighten to the proper torque. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
  2. Connect the coolant temperature sensor wire harness connector.

  3. Install the PCM mount (3) to the battery tray (1).
  4. Install the PCM mount bolts (2 & 4).
  5. Install the PCM

    Refer to MODULE, POWERTRAIN CONTROL (PCM), INSTALLATION .

  6. Install the battery. Refer to BATTERY, INSTALLATION .
  7. Fill the cooling system. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
  8. Install the engine cover. Refer to the appropriate service information article.
  9. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
