Folding Seat Module (FSM)

REMOVAL

Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable(s). Refer to BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT - 3.6L or BATTERY DISCONNECT AND CONNECT - 5.7L .
Remove the left rear quarter trim. Refer to PANEL, QUARTER TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

1 - Wire Harness Connectors

2 - Locking Tabs
Disconnect the wire harness connectors to the Folding Seat Module (FSM).
Press the locking tabs while pulling out to remove the FSM.

INSTALLATION

Follow the removal procedure in reverse for general reassembly of the components on the vehicle. The steps listed below are calling out specific procedures that should be followed during installation.

When the seat is replaced or the module is updated or replaced, perform the following calibration procedures using the scan tool:

Calibrate Full Recline
Calibrate Stow
Write Left Rear Seat Position
Write Right Rear Seat Position
