Module, Intrusion: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an intelligent battery sensor (ibs), disconnect the ibs connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the overhead console from the headliner. Refer to CONSOLE, OVERHEAD, FRONT, REMOVAL .
  3. Disconnect the intrusion module sensor pigtail wire harness connector (1) from the intrusion transceiver module (ITM) (2) connector receptacle.
  4. Release the latch features that secure the ITM to the overhead console housing.
  5. Remove the ITM from the overhead console housing.
