Module, Intrusion: Removal

- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an intelligent battery sensor (ibs), disconnect the ibs connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- Remove the overhead console from the headliner. Refer to CONSOLE, OVERHEAD, FRONT, REMOVAL .
- Disconnect the intrusion module sensor pigtail wire harness connector (1) from the intrusion transceiver module (ITM) (2) connector receptacle.
- Release the latch features that secure the ITM to the overhead console housing.
- Remove the ITM from the overhead console housing.
