Module, Fuel Pump Control: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the rear seat. Refer to SEAT, FRONT, REMOVAL .
  3. Remove the rear carpet assembly. Refer to CARPET, FLOOR, REMOVAL .

  4. Disconnect the fuel pump control module wire harness connector (2) from the module.
  5. Remove the fuel pump control module bracket mounting nuts(1).
  6. Remove the fuel pump control modules from the mounting bracket.
