Module, Keyless Ignition Node (Kin): Installation

  1. Install the two screws (1) securing the KIN module to the bezel.

  2. Connect the wire harness connector (1) for the Keyless Ignition Node (KIN) module.

  3. Install the bezel to the dashboard cover then install two screws (1) that secure the bezel to the dashboard cover.

  4. Place the steering column gap hider back to its installed position, engaging all the snap clips.
  5. Install the instrument panel center bezel. Refer to BEZEL, INSTRUMENT PANEL, CENTER, INSTALLATION .
  6. If the KIN is being replaced, perform the RFHM verification test. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
