Module, Keyless Ignition Node (Kin): Removal

- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
- Remove instrument panel center bezel. Refer to BEZEL, INSTRUMENT PANEL, CENTER, REMOVAL

- Using a trim stick or another suitable wide flat-bladed tool, disengage the snap clips that secure the molded hard plastic outer edges of the steering column gap hider bezel (1) to the instrument panel.
- Position the telematic steering column outward and slide the gap hider forward.
- Remove the two screws (1) that secure the bezel to the dashboard cover and remove the bezel.
- Disconnect the wire harness connector (1) for the Keyless Ignition Node (KIN) module.
- Remove the two screws (1) securing the KIN module to the bezel.
