U2005-64-Implausible Data Received From ECM (Invalid Gas Pedal Position Can Signal Received From Engine Control Module) - Signal Plausibility Failure

NOTE:

The Scan Tool may display the description name of this Diagnostic Trouble Code differently with the following below:

ENGINE1 GASPEDALPOSITION - SIGNAL PLAUSIBILITY FAILURE

The COMMUNICATION DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE MUST  be performed before replacing any component(s) or module(s). Perform the COMMUNICATION DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE. Refer to COMMUNICATION DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE .

NOTE:

This DTC indicates a communication issue has occurred between the Sending  control module (PCM) and the Reporting  control module(s) that set this fault.

NOTE:

Treat this DTC as a IMPLAUSIBLE SIGNAL  DTC when performing the COMMUNICATION DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE.
