Module, Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFLS): Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the passenger lower silencer panel. Refer to PANEL, SILENCER, LOWER, REMOVAL .
  3. Disconnect the wire harness connector from the Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFLS) module (1).
  4. Remove the fasteners that secure the AFLS module located in the passenger cabin to the left of and behind the glove box and to the left the passenger side knee blocker (2).
  5. Remove the AFLS module from the vehicle.
