Engine Block: FLEXPLATE: Installation

  1. Install the flexplate (1).
  2. Install the washer (2).
  3. Install NEW  flexplate bolts (3) and tighten in a criss-cross pattern to the proper torque specification. Refer to (TORQUE SPECIFICATION ).
    CAUTION:

    Do not use an impact socket or a thick walled socket when removing or installing the flexplate retaining bolts, damage to the crankshaft, internal engine or the transmission may occur.

  4. Install the transmission. Refer to INSTALLATION .
