Engine Block: FLEXPLATE: Installation

- Position the flexplate (3) onto the crankshaft.
- Install the bolts (1) hand tight.
- Tighten the flexplate retaining bolts to the proper in a criss-cross pattern. Refer to (TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS ).CAUTION:
Do not use an impact socket or a thick walled socket when removing or installing the flexplate retaining bolts, damage to the crankshaft, internal engine or the transmission may occur.
- Install the transmission. Refer to 3.2 LITER .
