Diagnostic Test

Replace the Occupant Restraint Controller (ORC) 

1. Make sure the battery is fully charged.
2. Turn the ignition off, wait ten seconds and turn ignition on.
3. With the scan tool, read the ORC DTC.

   Did the scan tool display active or stored DTC?

   Yes 

   • Check and repair OCCUPANT RESTRAINT CONTROLLER (ORC) codes.
   • Perform the RESTRAINTS SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to RESTRAINTS SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST .

   No 

   • Perform the RESTRAINTS SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to RESTRAINTS SYSTEM VERIFICATION TEST .
