There is one Hands Free Entry Power Sliding Door (HFEPSD) (1) module with sensor (if equipped) for each sliding door fixed to the door sill bracket. The HFEPSD hardware and circuitry is contained and protected within a housing that has two mounts and three wiring harness connection receptacles. The HFEPSD system is not available on vehicles equipped with running boards.

The HFEPSD module (1) is seated within the HFEPSD sensor track (2) and is serviced separately from the sensor.

The HFEPSD module (1) cannot be adjusted or repaired and, if damaged or ineffective, the HFEPSD module must be replaced.
