Removal And Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the trim from the right quarter inner panel to access the Park Assist Module (PAM), which is located to the rear of the C-pillar and above the right rear wheel housing. Refer to PANEL, QUARTER TRIM, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .

  3. Disconnect the body wire harness connectors (3) from the PAM (1) connector receptacles.
  4. Remove the fasteners (2) that secure the PAM to the right quarter inner panel.
  5. Remove the PAM from the vehicle.
