Removal And Installation: Installation

  1. Position the PDC lower cover in the engine compartment and tighten the fasteners (1) to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .

  2. Connect the three bulkhead wire harness connectors (1) located in the base of the PDC to the upper PDC tray bottom.

  3. Tighten the fasteners (2) through the upper PDC tray to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . If a screw is over torqued, mating connector can be damaged.
  4. Connect the B+ to the PDC (1) and tighten to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .

  5. Install the PDC cover (1) onto the PDC assembly making sure the snap retainers (2) are fully engaged.
  6. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
