Installation - Module

  1. Position the Emergency Assistance Module (EAM) (3) to the EAM mounting bracket.
  2. Install and securely tighten the EAM fasteners (2).
  3. Connect the instrument panel wiring harness connectors and antenna connectors (1).

  4. Align the EAM bracket with the instrument panel slots and front clip retainers (3). Gently, but firmly, press the bracket toward the front of the vehicle into the instrument panel. Make sure the retainers are fully seated into the instrument panel.
  5. Install the glovebox surround and glovebox. Refer to GLOVE BOX, INSTRUMENT PANEL, INSTALLATION .
  6. Connect the negative battery cable.
