Damper, Vibration: Installation

- Using (special tool #10387, Installer, Vibration Damper), install the threaded rod (1) into the face of the crankshaft (3) till the face of the rod (4) bottoms out.
- Position the vibration damper (2) on the crankshaft.
- Using Damper Installer (1) and a deep well socket, press the damper onto the crankshaft till seated.
- Using a new bolt. Install the vibration damper bolt.
- Position the (special tool #10386, Holder, Vibration Damper) (2), onto the vibration damper (3).
- Tighten the bolt to the proper specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the cooling fan. Refer to 3.6L/5.7L/6.4L .
- Install accessory drive belt. Refer to 5.7L/6.4L

- Position the upper radiator hose and secure retainer at the fan shroud.
- Install the upper radiator hose at the thermostat housing and secure the hose clamp (1).
- Install the oil cooler hose (4) and secure the hose clamp (3).
- Refill the cooling system. Refer to COOLANT SYSTEM AIR EVACUATION .
- Connect the negative battery cable.
