Removal And Installation: Installation

  1. Position the HVAC module (2) to the HVAC housing.

  2. Install the HVAC module onto the mount (1b).
  3. Install the fasteners (1a) that secure the HVAC module (2) to the HVAC housing and tighten securely.

  4. Connect the wire harness connectors (1a) to the HVAC module (1b).
  5. Install the left front floor air outlet. Refer to OUTLET, AIR, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  6. Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
  7. Using the diagnostic scan tool, the "Restore Vehicle Configuration" routine under the Body Control Modules (BCM) "Misc Functions" menu must be performed.
