- Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), disconnect the IBS connector first before disconnecting the negative battery cable.
- The tolerance between the Integrated Center Stack (ICS) and the instrument panel is very tight, so to avoid damage to the I/P the use of a feeler gauge (1) or equivalent is needed to release the ICS (2) enough to get a trim stick behind the ICS.
- After the trim stick (2) is inserted behind the ICS (3), release the retaining clips and partially remove the ICS.
- Disconnect the ICS wire harness connector (2) from the ICS (1b).
- Remove the ICS (1b) from the vehicle.
