Removal And Installation: Installation
- Position and install the camshaft position sensor into place, then install and tighten the nut to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

- Connect the camshaft position sensor electrical connector.
- Position the heat shield, then install and tighten the nut to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS

- Install the engine cover. Refer to
COVER, ENGINE, REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION

- Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
- When replacing the camshaft position sensor, connect the diagnostic scan tool, enter "Active Diagnosis" and run the self-learning procedure.
